Juliann Shih

Juliann received her BS in computer science and molecular biology from MIT. As a medical student at Tufts Medical School and now a resident at UNLV, she is working on detecting signatures of positive and negative selection from the length distributions of somatic copy-number alterations. She also regularly goes mountain- and rock-climbing, which makes Rameen anxious.

Fun facts: In my spare time, I travel in search of the best combination of mountains, noodles, and coffee. So far, Arco, Italy takes the cake!

Coyin Oh

Coyin received her BS in biological engineering from MIT. As a medical student in the HST program at Harvard Medical School and Beroukhim lab member, she worked on a computational pipeline that infers copy-number alterations in cancer genomes. After graduating Coyin entered the Medicine residency at UCSF.

Jeff Meng

Jeff majored in chemistry and math at Williams College. He is now a student in the MD–PhD program at Harvard and the MD program at Health Sciences and Technology. Jeff studied the genomic correlates of melanoma response to immunotherapy and the use of new sequencing technologies to find alterations in cancer genomes. He is now completing his last two years of medical school at Harvard.

Fun fact: Jeff measures the temperature of just about anything he cooks.
