Annabel Wallace

Annabel grew up in San Francisco before moving to Connecticut for high school and college. In 2025, she graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. She developed an interest in autoimmune neurology while researching myasthenia gravis at Yale. This work led her to a Fulbright research fellowship in Barcelona, where she investigated CAR T-cell therapy in anti-NMDAR encephalitis. She now coordinates the Beroukhim lab’s precision medicine work in collaboration with Break Through Cancer.

Fun fact: As a toddler, Annabel was conversational in four languages (English, Spanish, Italian, and French). That number has sadly decreased to 2.5 (English, Spanish, and not enough Catalan).
