Angelique Gilbert
Angelique, a proud Rhode Island native, began her scientific journey at the University of Connecticut, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology. After graduating, Angelique moved to Boston to join the Graubert Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital as a research technician. There she contributed to cutting-edge studies on slicing factor mutations in acute myeloid leukemia.
Through her dedication and leadership, Angelique advanced to the role of Laboratory Manager, overseeing operations across three laboratories within the Cancer Center. In this capacity, Angelique streamlined workflows, supported collaborative research efforts, and played a key role in maintaining high standards of scientific excellence.
In 2026, Angelique brought her expertise and organizational leadership to the Beroukhim Lab, where she now leads lab management with the same commitment to innovation, efficiency, and team success that has defined her career.
Fun fact: Outside of the lab, Angelique enjoys birding (ask her about the time she was in a news story about American Woodcocks!), traveling to wildlife and snorkeling hotspots, and relaxing at home with her loving cat, Sneakers.
