
Daniela Pavlicenco
Daniela was born in the Republic of Moldova and raised in southern Portugal. She studied Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Lisbon, where she earned her degree. During the final phase of her PharmD training, Daniela worked at the intersection of immunology and nanomedicine at the University of Helsinki, Finland, through an exchange program. After graduating in 2019, she moved to Sweden to join AstraZeneca’s Pharmaceutical Technology & Development Graduate Program, where she worked primarily on advanced drug-delivery systems. She is currently a PhD candidate visiting from the University of Bergen, Norway. In the Beroukhim Lab, she works on clonal tracking and computational analyses of metastatic endometrial cancer.
Fun fact: Has moved countries often enough that “home” is now a flexible concept.
